Siddhagad Fort Base Ride.
This Ride was actually not pre-planned. Alike other times, i just took my camera bag, windcheater & bike & routed to my Farmhouse at Sonivli(4KM from my home). I was surfing on my mobile for some intresting place to get a mesmerising bike ride under this enchanting cloudy atmosphere. I got that place, 37 KM distant & perfect for me. I called up at home to inform that i'l be late today. It was 2:30 PM when i left from Sonivli. I routed my Pulsar via Rahtoli, Mulgaon, Lavhali straight till Mhasa-Karjat Highway.Routing Karjat-Mhasa hIghway, we get parallel to Bhimashankar Wild life sanctuary. On the right, sights the Bhimashankar Mountain range & straight aheads the Killer Siddhagad Mount Range, stamping in Bhimashankar WLS lost inside the clouds.
Reaching Mhasa, I took right turn which leaded towards Jambhurde village. Theres a entry gate of Bhimashankar Wildlife sanctuary from Jambhurde village. From the entry gate, Base of Siddhagad Fort is almost 8 KM long on a narrow, wrecked & typical Jungle Safari route. Being alone was itself a scary thing to me, but the too it was adventurous. This Jungle routeaccompanied Adivasi Colonies after every 800 - 900 mts distance range.
Prior to reach Siddhagad base, the atmosphere was a bit clear with light cloudy sky surface. I stopped near to a Adivasi colony, captured few shot in my canon, some selfies after which the rain started showing its ugly phase. I routed my ride till the base of Siddhagad Fort, parked it & started climbing the fort. This is a real tough climb. It was around 4 PM now, rain was striking from above as hard as ever. It became very tough for me to take the decision to move back & climb down the fort, climate was not ready to help me & yet the time factor, it was fare late to complete the climb.
The clock approached 5:10 PM till I reached the Fort base. Failure of the fort climb became a major hurdle in my brain, continously striking itching inside. I traced the same Jungle route for 8 KM till Jambhurde Village. With very heavy heart, I returened back Badlapur around 7:30. *Also, a major failure in this trail was with the photos. Bad weather not allowed me to take snaps of surroundings. Photos at the stop near a Adivasi Colony prior to reach Siddhagad fort base was the Last Photograph Taken.
"Zindagi ki yehi reet hai, haar ke baad jeet hai !!", This was my short Monsoon start up which gaved much pretty experience than success.
