Shivneri, Malshej, Lenyadri & Ozar (17 Febraury 2017)

A ride after six long months.

I am back to my home at Badlapur, Mumbai for vacation. So, it was but obvious to make a ride !! My 2 ganapatis from Ashtavinayk were backlined which was yet to be completed. So the plan was fixed for a one day ride to Lenyadri, Ozar & Shivneri Fort.

It was 17 February 2017, Friday. This ride includes more two riders with me, one is Ajay Mhatre from Panvel & Other is Vinay Dhankute from Badlapur. Ajay arrived Badlpur from Panvel at 6:40 AM. We started our ride towards our destiny. We routed from Badlapur city, Ambeshiv village, & joined the Ahmednagar Highway. The morning wind was blowing down our body temperatures. We took a stop for breakfast at Murbad.

The high attraction of this ride was Malshej Ghat. We reached the foot of Malshej Ghat around 8:20 AM, made some good clicks & carried further.

We stopped many places in the Ghat to make scenic captures. The Ghat is specially known for its ranging of 3900 feets abv sea level & huge mountains making a lovefall of brotherhood.

It was 10.15 AM that we reached the parking of Shivneri Fort. Shivneri Fort is the Birth place of Shrimant Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Great Maratha Warrior. Shevneri Fort is well maintained, very clean & brought up with gardens, bushes & small lawns across the fort sight which makes it more reverbrating. The walk toward the end of the Shivneri mount, where the small building structure stand with glory of the intaking the room (Kothadi) Where Aaimata Jijaau gave birth to Shivaji Maharaj.

We explored every corner of the fort & started tracing our path back. The sun was dropping our willpower, but still we ade it. We started tracing the path from Shivneri to Ozar at 1:00 PM. These 18 Kms went through wrecked village roads, very slow & steady.

We reached Ozar around 1:30 PM. We took darshan of Vighnahar Ganapati. We also too a healthy lunch at Ozar itself. 
It was 2:45 PM, we initiated towards Lenyadri. We reached base of Lenyadri around 3:15 PM. 
Lenyadri is the set of 30 rock cut Buddhist Caves, out of which only three are allowed to pe visited amongst which one cave hold the Girijatmag Ganapati.

The caves are situated on an elevation of 215 feet from base(about 300 steps). The steps are very stiff, people come with devotional feelings and easily climb these steps. We took the darshan of Girijatmag Ganaapati & captured many snaps at the top. The Shivneri Fort mountain is easily visible from Lenyadri.

We stepped down Lenyadri, tied our luggage to the bike & routed our beauties via junnar, back towards our home. 

We were crossing Malshej Ghat around 6:00 PM. We took a hold for an hour to enjoy the serene beauty of sunset. We clicked our photos with our rides & also the shadow oriented photos. We started around 6:50 PM from there & reached Badlapur around 8:30 PM. Ajay continued from Badlapur to Panvel till 9:30 PM.

Thereby one more ride came to an end adding much more passionn for my hobbies. Also, Along with this Ride, I completed visiting all Eight Ashtavinayak Ganapatis & action Camera.
